Cupertino Community Service Awards

Sarah has volunteered through Colorful Minds, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving autistic and other neurodivergent children. She is also a member of the Bay Area Leadership Team, helping to organize and lead weekly art workshops at the Cupertino Library.

Shivika is the lead high school intern at the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce and played a key role in organizing major community events, including the Cupertino Night Market, Bay Area Diwali, Cupertino Holi, and the Cupertino Education Fair. She is also part of Monta Vista High School’s Student Life Commission and helps strengthen the bridge between student-led organizations and the broader school community.

The work of SunflowerMagic supports seniors physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. They take seniors to various community events where they can perform and participate, bringing great joy and confidence to seniors.

For more than 20 years, Janet has been a dedicated volunteer at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center, demonstrating exceptional dependability and professionalism. She consistently goes above and beyond, offering comfort to those in need, and providing a warm, reassuring presence to everyone she encounters. Her genuine care and empathy have touched countless lives over the years.

Bruce has provided 50+ years of continuous community service in Cupertino. He became involved in youth programs in 1975 including AYSO, Hoover School PTA, YMCA, and more. He also actively participated in grassroots committees that continue to impact our lives to this day. Bruce continues his contributions to the community through his leadership role at the Cupertino Historical Society & Museum.
