Digital Archives

Many of the City's records are available online including agenda packets, minutes, resolutions, ordinances, budget documents, building permits, etc. and are stored in the Digital Archives. You can also submit Public Records Act Requests using the Online Public Records Portal. View City of Cupertino's Record Retention Schedule(PDF, 211KB).

Ordinances which apply City-wide are divided into chapters and compiled into the Cupertino Municipal Code which is available on the codehub website.

Agendas & Minutes include the City Council and Planning Commission, as well as Parks and Recreation and other commission/committee meetings.

How to Make a Public Records Act Request

Include the following information to ensure the scope of the request is understood and clear enough for personnel to determine if we have the records you are requesting.

  • The date(s) of the record
  • The subject of the record
  • A clear and specific description of the record
  • Any additional information that helps staff identify the record
  • Your complete contact information, so that we may notify you when your request is available
