September 7 – October 7, 2026 

Move Moore with Mayor Kitty Moore and the Cupertino community! The Move Moore Challenge encourages Cupertino residents to increase their physical activity by tracking the total number of minutes they spend being active throughout the month. 

Walk, run, cycle, swim, practice yoga, play a sport, or participate in another physical activity. Every minute counts toward a more active Cupertino! 

How to Participate

Step 1: Sign Up and Complete the Waiver

Complete the Move Moore participant sign-up form and waiver before registering for the challenge.

Step 2: Register for the Challenge

Access Challenge Hound in your web browser or through the mobile app and create an account.

After creating an account, register for the Move Moore Challenge and start tracking your physical activity.

Step 3: Get Moving and Track Your Minutes

Participate in physical activities throughout the challenge. Activities may include walking, running, cycling, swimming, yoga, sports, and more. 

Log your activity and the total duration in Challenge Hound. Continue adding your physical activity minutes throughout the challenge to track your progress. 

Step 4: Join the Celebration

After completing the challenge, join Mayor Kitty Moore and fellow participants for a community celebration. Enjoy a prize distribution and celebratory lunch as we recognize the time Cupertino residents spent getting active. 

Event Details: Move Moore Celebration 

Date: Saturday, October 10, 2026

Time: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Please note that the event start and end time has changed)

Location: The event location will be shared directly with Move Moore Challenge participants prior to the celebration.

Event is open only to Move Moore Challenge participants.
