The City of Cupertino is excited to launch the Small Business Spotlight Program, a new Shop Local initiative designed to promote and celebrate the diverse small businesses that make Cupertino a vibrant place to live, work, and shop.
Through this program, local businesses would be showcased through social media content that helps increase visibility and connect Cupertino residents and visitors with local businesses.
Registration closes October 14, 2026.
As part of the Small Business Spotlight Program, City staff would visit participating businesses to capture professional b-roll footage that showcases the business and its daily operations. The footage would be edited into a social media reel which the City of Cupertino will share across its social media channels to help promote local businesses and increase community awareness.
The program is open to small businesses from all industries that operate within Cupertino.

If your business meets eligibility, City staff would schedule one visit to your business location. During the visit, staff would film your business in action and capture footage that highlights what makes your business unique.
