Construction began this week, with different phases scheduled over the coming months:

Torre Avenue

  • April 23–May 9: Installation of a new 12” water main and related services (13 working days)
  • May 22–June 13: Final service tie-ins and pavement restoration (16 working days)

Pacifica Drive

  • April 8–22: Saw cutting and installation of a new 12” water main (10 working days)
  • May 12–30: Final connections for domestic water, hydrants, fire services, and irrigation (13 working days)
  • June 2–13: Pavement restoration (10 working days)

All construction will occur Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., excluding holidays and major City events.

What to Expect

  • Traffic and Parking Impacts: Parking along Torre Avenue will be limited during construction. Traffic control measures may also cause delays, so drivers are encouraged to plan ahead.
  • Service Notifications: Any planned water service shutoffs will be communicated in advance, with at least 72 hours' notice given to City Hall and the Cupertino Library.
