Nominations Open for 2026 CREST Awards

Do you know someone making a positive difference in Cupertino? Nominate them for a 2026 CREST Award! 

The City of Cupertino is recognizing outstanding individuals, organizations, and businesses that have gone above and beyond to serve our community. Award categories include: 

• Rising Star: This award recognizes an individual who has volunteered in Cupertino for three or less years but shows a continued commitment to the future of the Cupertino community.
• Organization of the Year: This award recognizes nonprofit organizations that have made a difference to the Cupertino community through volunteer service, or championed public safety or sustainability.
• Lifetime Achievement: This award recognizes a member of the community who has volunteered in the City of Cupertino for 10-plus years.
• Hometown Hero/es: This award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding dedication to public service, community impact, or volunteerism. Eligibility for this award has been broadened to include volunteers or professionals who work in Public Safety Service (first responders, EMS, law enforcement, military).
• New Category: Business/Businessperson of the Year:  This award recognizes a business or business leader that demonstrates excellence in leadership, innovation, economic impact, and commitment to the community.

Winners will be honored at the Cupertino Community Service Awards on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
