Cupertino Celebrates Public Service Recognition Week

The City of Cupertino proudly recognized Public Service Recognition Week from May 5 - 11, 2025, by celebrating the dedicated public servants who help keep the City running every day. This annual observance, held during the first full week of May, honors the contributions of government employees.

Throughout the week, Cupertino hosted a series of appreciation events for its staff, featuring a rotating lineup of treats and opportunities to come together. From donuts and boba to cheese snacks and tacos, each day offered a small gesture of thanks for the big impact our employees make across the City and into the community.

The week also featured the City’s Q2 Employee Town Hall, where staff came together for an afternoon of team-building activities and interdepartmental connection.

From maintaining our parks and community centers to keeping our streets and infrastructure safe, the contributions of our dedicated staff are truly invaluable. The City of Cupertino extends its heartfelt thanks to all employees for everything they do to support and serve our community.
