On Friday, August 15, Cupertino-Bhubaneswar Sister Cities Inc. and the City of Cupertino hosted the 79th India Independence Day Flag Raising Ceremony.
Mayor Liang Chao provided remarks to highlight the importance of embracing diversity and celebrating cultural events. The event also featured dance and singing performances that showcased the colorful and lively cultures of India.
