The Development Services Division provides design and construction administration for all capital improvement programs including streets, buildings, parks, utilities, and pavement maintenance. The Division reviews plans for all private developments including residential, commercial and industrial, as well as for encroachment permit applications for work in the public right of way, to ensure conformance with City standards. Inspection services ensure compliance with city standards on all public and private projects.

ALERT! NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORKS COUNTER CLOSURES

Public Works counter services will be closed on the following days:
  • October 29, 2026 - City Hall offices, including the Permit Center will be closed from 11:15 am to 1:30 pm for a Citywide Employee Event
  • November 11, 2026 - in observance of Veteran's Day Holiday, reopening on November 12, 2026
  • November 26-27, 2026 – in observance of the Thanksgiving Day Holidays, reopening on November 30, 2026
  • December 24, 2026 through January 1, 2027 – City Hall holiday closure, reopening on January 4, 2027

Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
