Cupertino Launches Portable Solar EV Chargers

Cupertino has received final reimbursement from Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) for two portable, solar-powered EV ARC chargers through the Community Resilience Program. The grant fully covered the units and a specialized trailer for easy relocation. These chargers will provide community EV charging and backup power for first responders during outages. Currently located near Library Field, the units will be rotated to other city sites, with the Quinlan Community Center as the next stop.
