Permit Applications

The permits below are issued by the Public Works Department.

For building-related permits, please contact the Building Division at 408.777.3228 or permitcenter@cupertino.gov.

For planning-related permits, please contact the Planning Division at 408.777.3308 or planning@cupertino.gov.

Starting Monday, March 23, 2026, encroachment permit applications will only be accepted using the new Public Works online application available on the City's Accela Citizen Access (ACA) portal: cupertino.gov/ACA . Click on the "Encroachment Permit" button below for additional information.
