On Tuesday, the City participated in celebrating the groundbreaking of the I-280/Wolfe Road Interchange Improvement Project in partnership with the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority and the California Department of Transportation.
Planned improvements include a new structure carrying Wolfe Road over I-280, new on- and off-ramps, upgraded local intersections, and enhanced bicycle and pedestrian facilities. Construction is expected to continue through winter 2029. Please plan ahead and allow extra time for a safe drive.
