Tennis and Pickleball
City Park Tennis Courts
The City has tennis courts at Varian, Monta Vista, and Memorial Parks that are first-come, first-serve, and are not reservable.
Memorial Park Pickleball
Playing Respectfully: Quiet Pickleball Equipment Encouraged
In an effort to balance community recreation with neighborhood tranquility, the City is introducing a new request for pickleball players. Beginning August 1, signage will be posted at courts asking players to use quiet-category paddles and balls—certified by USA Pickleball—during the hours of dawn to 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM daily. This initiative is aimed at reducing noise during early morning and evening hours. While this is a step toward mitigating noise concerns, the City remains committed to supporting pickleball. The City continues to look into potential long-term noise reduction solutions.

Pickleball is only permitted daylight hours until 9 p.m.
The City offers pickleball on Courts 1 and 2 at Memorial Park. Court 1 has tennis striping and Court 2 is dual-striped for both tennis and pickleball.
Court 1 is available on a first-come, first-served basis for both tennis and pickleball, and pickleball has priority over tennis on Court 2. Tennis may be played on Court 2 when pickleball players are not present, but the court must be relinquished to pickleball players when they arrive.
