Celebrate the 4th of July in Cupertino

Join the City for a full day of red, white, and blue fun! From morning activities to evening fireworks, Cupertino's Fourth of July Celebration is packed with local traditions, live entertainment, and family-friendly festivities. Whether you're starting your day with pancakes, marching in the children's parade, or enjoying live music at the concert—there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Fireworks Are Back for 2025!

Cap off the celebration with Cupertino's fireworks show, lighting up the night sky in honor of Independence Day.

Start your morning with a delicious pancake breakfast hosted by the Optimist Club of Cupertino!

Join us in the Cupertino Room at Quinlan Community Center (10185 North Stelling Road, Cupertino) from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Pricing:

  •  Adults: $15
  •  Children (12 and under): $10
    Please note: Payment is accepted at the door — cash only.

Menu:

  • Pancakes, sausage, fruit cup, and your choice of coffee or hot chocolate.
  • Orange juice is available for an additional $3.

Flag Raising and Children's Parade | 10 a.m.

Flag Raising Ceremony | 10:00 a.m.

Join us at the Veterans Memorial in Memorial Park to honor our country with a formal Flag Raising Ceremony, featuring remarks from the Mayor of Cupertino.

Children’s Parade | Immediately Following the Flag Raising

After the ceremony, the celebration continues with the Children’s Parade as we make our way through the park to the amphitheater.

Kids, families, and even pets are invited to show off their patriotic spirit—decorate your bikes, scooters, strollers, wagons, or outfits in red, white, and blue and be part of this festive tradition!

Kids Activities 10:30 a.m. to noon

Following the children’s parade, kids are invited to enjoy fun activities on the field by the amphitheater—including coloring, bubbles, an obstacle course, and lawn games.

The Children’s Parade will conclude at the Memorial Park amphitheater, just in time to kick off our concert featuring the Billy Martini Band! Get ready to groove to a high-energy mix of funk, R&B, soul, and rock hits from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. Show off your patriotic spirit by rocking your best red, white, and blue attire!

The concert begins at approximately 10:30 a.m. and will keep the energy going until noon.

While you enjoy the music, join the fun with lawn games nearby—perfect for all ages!

Cap off your Independence Day celebration with a spectacular fireworks display launching from Hyde Middle School at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Viewing Locations

  •  Creekside Park
  •  Sedgwick Elementary School
  • Miller Avenue near Bollinger Road
  • ⚠️Please note: The Hyde Middle School campus will be closed to spectators.

Street Closures and Parking
Several streets around Hyde Middle School will close starting at 5 p.m. Parking will be extremely limited. We highly recommend walking, biking, or arranging drop-off if you plan to attend.

No Pets
For everyone’s safety—including your furry friends—pets are not permitted at the viewing areas.

No Barbecues
Barbecues are not allowed at any of the designated viewing sites.
