- Cold Weather Advisory: Temperatures as low as 34°F
Timing: 1 a.m. to 9 a.m., Friday, February 20
Affected Areas: East Bay and North Bay interior valleys and mountains, Santa Clara Valley and eastern mountains, Santa Cruz Mountains, Salinas Valley and Central Coast mountains, and the San Francisco Bay Shoreline.
Impacts & Safety:
- Hazardous conditions for sensitive populations, including unhoused individuals
- Prolonged exposure may lead to hypothermia for people, pets, and livestock
- Cold temperatures may damage or kill sensitive crops and plants
Take precautions to protect yourself, check on vulnerable neighbors, bring pets indoors, and protect sensitive vegetation.
